Grand Opening Successful

More than 1200 attended the grand opening ceremonies of the Old West Wax Museum, Sat., August 7. Special Guests included members of the Tim Smith family of Jackson, Wyo., who gave the wax figure collection to the town of Thermopolis. The collection has been updated with historical materials, photographs and artifacts from private donors. Some of these items are on display; others are being refurbished this winter for later display. Web site Our web site is up with a schedule of events, but we plan on having more soon.
